Should Elizabeth believe Mr. Darcy

Mr. Wickham met Elizabeth when she was visiting her aunt and he told Elizabeth that Mr. Darcy kept him away from his inheritance and made Mr. Bingley drop his proposal to Jane and go for his sister. While Mr. Darcy says that its Mr. Wickham's fault for why he wasn't giving him any more money because he was spending to much money in stuff that he eventually stopped. He also told Mr. Bingley to leave Jane because he thought that she had the strange plague and he didn't want him to suffer by watching her suffer.  Who should Elizabeth believe Mr. Wickham or Mr. Darcy?
